Closing from Ujung Genteng (09/12/06)

In the morning, there were much of free time. If you like to explore, you can see white sand beach and buy souvenir in other site. You can ask those to ojek's driver (ojek - I've wrote this in previous post). In the night before, we were going to see turtles deliver the eggs, but sadly it's not the right time.
In this morning, I and Olin just get walk in the sea side, until the schedule to get into Amanda Ratu. There is a villa, near the hill and sea shore. We only get the pics near the hill.

well, I loved to see Cikaso waterfall the most, the other site was so so. Not a real expedition.

Single Trip to Ujung Genteng (09/12/05)

First of all, I was thinking this is spontaneous act. I decide to take the trip from SunBurst, alone. No friends, no siblings. It was 1 week before the trip was begun.
It was at Saturday dawn, I was going by train from Depok city to Sudirman station at Jakarta city, then I take ojek (read. o-jack, person who ride you with his bike, then you pay him number of Rupiahs) Rp. 15,000, drop by at bus station in front of Planet Hollywood (Jl. Gatot Subroto). 5 minutes later, the tour leader get me in a bus. We're going to Ujung Genteng.
First site was Cikaso waterfall. When we're arriving, we're asked to introduce ourselves to others, then continued with walking for about 5 minutes, to get in a small boat.
One boat for Rp. 75,000, can bring 10 people to the waterfall. We're going through the lake. Its water seems to be divided in 2 colours, first we saw brown.. then we saw the green colour, when we almost arrived.
Then we get walk a little while, might be 5 minutes. Taa daa... I've never seen more beautiful waterfall than this.

Second site, we're going to the Inn or Hotel?! I forgot the name, but it's located in Ujung Genteng, near the beach. It's about 2 hours from the waterfall. We took some pics with sunset, in Ujung Genteng beach.
This is my new friends (from left), Olin, Indah, Netty, myself, and Siska. That's very nice to meet them.
Then get rest until next morning, to the replicate of Tanah Lot - Bali

Last Journey in Wonosobo (08/02/09)

We were getting ride to Waduk Merican. Waduk means a water channel that human made for electric power purpose. How should we say?

It looks like we were seeing a sea, right?!










There is Eceng Gondok, kind of plant, in its side. This kind of plant can block Oxygen from the air to circulate into water. The risk is any fish or alive things inside the water could run out of oxygen.










Well, we continue to prepare going home. Before that, we want to buy handies.. We go to the traditional market. Goodies especially foods are very very cheap. Recommended! These are some of that I bought.. Kripik Bayam (Spinach cracker)..

Not to good, but curios to taste it, hehe. Then Kacang Dieng (Dieng peanuts).. Salty and cracky.. taste good.






And Tambi Tea..
Like other tea.. and also the most popular one.. Carica Papaya (Sweets from Papaya, cooked with liquid mixed with sugar)..

A should buy! The other that I still remember are Kripik Tahu (Tofu cracker) which is also a very good one, then Kripik Jamur (Mushroom cracker), a so so one.. there are many kind of crackers at there..


Well, time to go home to Jakarta.. see you soon at the next journey













Oh, the ticket is less than a hundred thousand rupiahs at the time.. I forgot, but nice bus trip..
